Planner Sticker Organization

So as I showed in my previous post I bought a lot of stickers. I have since bought more. I needed a way to see them easily so I don’t doubt buy. I found the perfect set up inexpensively at Wal-mart. I purchased a small binder such as this one.

I then purchased plastic inserts to put in it that fit.

And here they are inserted and what they look like on the inside.

And of course with the stickers in them.

I find this to be perfect for my needs and it holds three packs of fifteen protectors easily. The binder was around 2.88 and each pack of protects was around 2.47. Not much investment to keep my stickers nice and organized. Do you have a way you organize your stickers? If so please share below.

Ha Ha Tonka State Park

Last week I went to a state park in Missouri. It was a beautiful day but the pictures don’t do it justice since it was February and everything was brown. I am posting about it anyway as it has a unique history and if you ever get a chance you should check it out.

Per the website Mo State Parks “Robert M. Snyder, a wealthy Kansas City businessman, first visited the site in 1903 and was so impressed that he eventually purchased more than 5,000 acres. He envisioned a private retreat with a European-style castle, with a center atrium rising three and one-half stories to a skylight. Snyder also planned an 80-foot-high water tower, greenhouses and a carriage house. Construction began in 1905 only to be halted a year later with the untimely death of Snyder in one of the state’s first automobile accidents. Snyder’s sons finished building their father’s dream, though not quite as elaborately as originally planned. Eventually, the property was leased for use as a hotel, until tragedy struck in 1942. The entire interior was gutted by fire when sparks from a chimney ignited the roof. The carriage house burned the same day and in 1976, the water tower was burned by vandals. Today only ruins remain.”

I did not go to the Castle area this day but I will visit it when things are green and take photos to share with you all. I did go to the Natural Spring which is beautiful in of itself. Here are the photos from that day.

Do you go on nature walks? What is the most beautiful place you have been? Please share in the comments.

2017 Goals

goal-setting-photo

I know it’s way past New Years and resolution times but I thought I would take a moment to write down my goals for 2017.

  1. To become financially prepared. What I mean by that is I plan ahead for family vacations and bills. I usually live pay check to pay check. This year I would like to start a savings for things I want to do.
  2. To become more organized. I have purchased two planners to make this happen. One for my life and one for my work. I wanted to keep the life one as a keepsake and didn’t want to put daily appointments in it so I plan on having two. I want to track water intake, finances, to do lists, you name it I want to plan it.
  3. To live a life more fulfilled. Last year was not a good year. I want this one to be improved and the only way I am going to make it happen is if I go after it. I have to be proactive and I have already made some choices in that direction.
  4. Lastly, I want to find me again. I have lost myself in work and being a mom that I don’t know who I am at my core. I miss the old me and though I don’t want to be her as I like being wiser some parts of her I would like to get back and infuse with who I am now. I hope that made sense lol

What are your goals for 2017? Please share them with me as I would like to know and interact with all of you.
