Wet N Wild Haul

I recently put in an order in at the wet n wild cosmetics website. There is free shipping for purchasing 35.00 in the US. I purchased a couple of makeup items and mostly their brushes which are very inexpensive but of good quality. I purchased these items myself and the opinions in this review and haul are of my own.

I’ll start with the new foundation Photo Focus Foundation. The website describes it as… “Your skin, only better. Our new high-performing, skin-perfecting foundation underwent major road testing under seven different photo lighting conditions to deliver flawless camera-ready makeup every time. Specially made with a matte, light-diffusing complex to give your skin #nofilter perfection.

  • High-performing, breakthrough formula
  • Featuring light-adjusting complex to help prevent white cast in photos
  • Tested under 7 light conditions with and without the use of flash”

I purchased Soft Ivory which the bottle said is a light warm shade and Soft Beige which the bottle says is a light-medium warm shade. then there is the colors on my skin and then blended out. Soft Ivory looks like a good match blended out but in the photo I share soon you can tell it sort of washes me out a bit. I ended up mixing the two which I feel is a better color match for me. It is a very matte finish and I didn’t need to powder with it. You can get up to a medium coverage without it looking cakey.

I also got the new highlighter. It’s called the MegaCusion Highlight. THe website states… “Once you try cushion, you will never go back! This soft and bouncy cushion compact is a dream to use. Build your own coverage with the no mess, no-fuss application. The Mega Cushion Highlight, lets you light up your best features exactly how you want, with the added bonus of a fresh and dewy finish.” – See more at: here It retails for 5.99

It’s a soft sheen that gives a natural look without being glittery at all. I do think if you powder over it with regular powder you lose the sheen quickly.

The rest of the order was brushes. I am obsessed with brushes and I have all different brands. I have a couple wet n wild brand and they are good quality and have a good grip.

The first picture is of the ten dollar set and the website describes them as… “Wet n Wild’s cruelty-free brush set is perfect for applying your favorite cosmetics with style. Set includes six of our high-quality brushes for the eyes, cheeks, and complexion. SET INCLUDES: (1) Angled Liner Brush, (1) Crease Brush, (1) Small Eyeshadow Brush, (1) Large Concealer Brush, (1) Foundation Brush (1) Blush Brush” – See more at: here

I also purchased five crease brushes, two smoky liner brushes, and two angled liner brushes. They retail for 99 cents a piece. The angled liner and smoky liner are perfect. The crease brush is good but a little on the loose side.

Wet n Wild also had a special running where you got a mystery gift worth fifteen dollars. It was a holiday kit.
